Last weekend I went to the most amazing place I have ever been in England: Lake District. I felt as if I were home - since I had always lived with my family in Brazil in the countryside. The beautiful views and roads reminded me a lot of the hills and landscapes from my home town.

No último final de semana estive no lugar mais incrível da Inglaterra: Lake District, uma área de parque, que me proporcionou uma das vistas mais lindas aqui. As estradas de chão, as ladeiras, os morros e as lagoas fizeram com que eu me sentisse em casa, em Garopaba, no nosso bairro de zona rural.

The idea of doing this trip came from my friend Rosie. When I visited her in Bath last year I asked her what would be the best place in England that I could not miss and she said 'Lake District!' Then she had the amazing initiative of organizing this trip for us to spend a weekend there with some other friends. 

A ideia surgiu da minha amiga Rosie quando eu a visitei em Bath no ano passado. Perguntei para ela se havia alguma cidade que eu não poderia deixar de visitar na Inglaterra, e ela falou 'Lake District!'. Então ela tomou a iniciativa de organizar um final de semana para passearmos lá.

It was not easy for me to climb all the hills - after finishing one there would always be another one, higher, to go ahead! But it was worth every step to get to the top and have that beautiful view! And we were all really happy because the weather was exceptional: sunny and very warm, no clouds in the sky, totally untypical.

Não foi fácil para mim subir até o topo - sempre depois de terminar um morro surgia outro ainda mais alto, e tínhamos que prosseguir! Mas valeu cada passo para chegar lá e ver a linda vista! Além disso estávamos todas muito felizes porque o tempo estava excepcional para padrões ingleses: ensolarado e quente, sem uma nuvem no céu!

Thank you girls for the unforgetable awesome trip!!

Solihul & Knowle com Flávia

Aproveitando a série de dias ensolarados, estive em Solihul (cidadezinha próxima com a qual simpatizo muito) e de lá fui para um vilarejo próximo, Knowle. Encontrei a Flávia numa cafeteria linda e bem charmozinha que fica na rua principal. Perto dali havia uma igrejinha com cemitério em volta. Fazia um solzinho bom e aproveitamos para comer nossa sobremesa ali e papear um pouco. ;)

Cambridge

Ontem estive em Cambridge! É uma cidade que eu ainda não havia visitado e que queria muito ir. Compartilho algumas fotos!

Como é especial encontrar amigos tão queridos! O próprio lugar se torna mais bonito quando as companhias são agradáveis! =)

Amei Cambridge, e amei encontrá-los, Fábio, Fernanda, Miguel e Rachel.

Primavera chegando...

Na quinta-feira me encantei ao observar que dos galhos secos estão saindo brotos de flores!
